Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
Dogs are allowed in the ring during judging only.

Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the show giving club nor any of its members will be responsible for obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring.

RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. The show secretary will add a collection fee of $30.00 to the amount of each returned check.

Refund of Exhibitor Fee: No entry fee will be refunded if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weath-er conditions, an act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the club, or if a dog is absent, disqualified, or excused by a judge or veterinarian or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

Liability: The Austin Bulldog Club and VFW 8787 assume no responsibility for the loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers or any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children.

Errors: Errors on the entry forms are the responsibility of the owner or whomever made the error and no entry fee will be refunded in the event of such error or cancellation of entry after the published closing date.

No entry shall be made which specified any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures, or the Agreement on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry form. Changes, additions, or corrections to entry forms must be received prior to close of entries.

A recording fee of 50 cents and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show. This recording fee is to be collected by the show giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only, (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2.) There will be no refund of duplicate entries. The show room will be available to exhibitors at noon, Thursday, January 11, 2018. The Show room will be closed at eleven PM each evening until eight AM the following day. All dogs must be removed from the rating area and show room immediately following the completion of judging each day. No dogs may be left in the crating area overnight. The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show.

Bred-By-Exhibitor Class: All dogs entered in the Bred-By-Class must be individually registered with the AKC, and the person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog. To exhibit in this class, family members must be a breeder and owner of record.

All dogs must be individually registered by the day of the event to be eligible to exhibit at an AKC event. No dog shall be exhibited in a licensed or member dog show, except for dogs entered in the Miscellaneous Class unless it is either individually registered in the AKC Stud Book, or individually registered with a foreign registry organization whose pedigrees are acceptable for AKC registration. Only dogs that are individually registered with a foreign registry organization and whose registration with the AKC has been delayed will be eligible for an extension.

An AKC litter number will no longer be accepted on an entry form. In addition, a Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL) or Indefinite Listing Privilege (ILP) number will be acceptable for participation in appropriate classes.

SWEEPSTAKES and 4 to 6 mo.
Sweepstakes will be held prior to the Regular Classes, and is open to any AKC registered Bulldog of at least six months of age and under 18 months of age on the date of the show. No champions of record as of the show closing date are eligible. Professional handlers may only show their own dogs. All entries in Sweepstakes must be entered in a Regular class. Entries must be made at the same time as entries for the Regular Class on the same entry form with the word Sweepstakes marked in the Additional Class box. Dogs and bitches are judged separately.
